Once you reach the park, follow the main road until you reach Tidal River – the park’s primary campground. After passing through the town of Meeniyan, take the exit onto Meeniyan-Promontory Road (C444) and cruise through the city of Yanakie, which is just over 5km outside of the Parks entrance. From there, you’ll want to connect with the South Gippsland Highway, meandering through Korumburra, Leongatha, and eventually Meeniyan. To get to Wilsons Promontory National Park from Melbourne by car, hop on the Monash Freeway (M1) and head southeast from the city.
